Application
ACAR CENTELSA by Nexans cables are used in overhead power transmission and distribution networks. Their good breaking load-to-weight ratio makes ACAR cables suitable for long-span transmission systems.
Note: Any other application or use not described above is considered prohibited.
Construction
1350 H19 aluminum wires stranded over a concentric conductor of 6201 T81 aluminum alloy wires.
Most ACAR cable constructions have a 6201 aluminum alloy core; in some configurations, the 6201 aluminum alloy wires are arranged in layers, combined with 1350 H19 aluminum wires.
