Application

AAAC CENTELSA by Nexans cables are used in overhead power transmission and distribution networks. They are also used as a supporting neutral for multiplex type overhead distribution cables.

Construction

Concentric conductor formed by 6201 T81 aluminum alloy wires.

Ampacity Conditions

  • Current capacity at ambient temperature 25°C, conductor temperature 75°C, solar emission 1kW/m², absorption and emissivity coefficients 0.5, wind speed 610 mm/sec, at sea level and at 60 Hz.
  • Short circuit current for one (1.0) second, at initial temperature of 75°C and final temperature of 340°C.
  • For all constructions or wiring ME: Modulus of elasticity 6300 kgf/mm², CDL: linear expansion coefficient 23.0 x 10 exp(-6) /°C.
