Application:
General application in low voltage distribution networks in operating stations where high mechanical strength is required. The interlocked aluminum armour gives greater flexibility compared to the traditional steel armour and the type of conformation of the same make has a high resistance to loads that could be placed on it. Class I, Div.2 and Class II, Div.2 hazardous locations per NEC.
Construction:
1. Conductor: Soft copper, class B.
2. Insulation: Cross linked polyethylene XLPE.
3. Bare grounding conductor: Soft copper, class B.
4. Inner covering: Anti-flame compound polyvinyl chloride PVC.
5. Armour: Interlocked aluminum tape.
6. Outer sheath: Anti-flame compound polyvinyl chloride PVC.
Main characteristics:
Resistance to abrasion and oils. Resistance to weather and sunlight. Its armour provides additional mechanical protection and provides greater flexibility compared with other types of armour. Does not propagate the FT-1 flame. Fire retardant according to C22.2 No 0.3-01/FT-4. Resistance to attack by rodents.
Gauge:
From 14 AWG up to 500 kcmil.
Marking:
For gauges equal to or smaller than 8 AWG: INDECO S.A. TECK90(XLPE) (Nb. cores x Gauge phase cond. + Gauge ground. cond.) 0,6 kV -25C FT1 FT4 SR CSA 255079 - Year - Sequential length.
For gauges higher than 8 AWG: INDECO S.A. TECK90(XLPE) (Nb. cores x Gauge phase cond. + Gauge ground. cond.) 0,6 kV -40C FT1 FT4 SR CSA 255079 - year - Sequential length.
Packing:
Non returnable wooden reels.
Colour:
Insulation: See core identification.
Outer sheath: Black.
