Description

Description

Application

Centelsa by Nexans Low-Halogen cables are part of the Nexans Fire Safety offer that allows you to protect people's lives, anticipate risks and secure assets in the event of fires.

Our Low-Halogen Cables do not spread fire, have low smoke emission, do not emit toxic gases, have a maximum operating temperature of 90°C.

Application

Cables for low voltage electrical energy distribution, installations in buildings, inside premises, control panels and electronic circuits. Suitable for places with a high concentration of people, where low-halogen conductors and low smoke emission are required, which in the event of a fire will not generate toxic or corrosive gases that may affect the health of people and the condition of equipment and circuits electronics. The cables can be used for installations mentioned in NTC 2050 Article 310.

LHFR-LS cables have characteristics that make them SUITABLE FOR MEDICAL CARE FACILITIES where invasive procedures are carried out on people, such as surgery rooms, intensive or special care units, etc., since their insulation has very low leakage currents, complying with the provisions of RETIE numeral 28.3.2, literal h.

Suitable for installation in cable trays according to RETIE article 20.3, literal J, from 12 AWG gauge and larger.

Construction

Conductor

Soft copper conductor.

Insulation

Low halogen, flame retardant and low smoke emission opaque, dense, toxic and corrosive thermoplastic compound. Insutated conductors and twisted together.

Applicable Standars

NTC 6182

Certificate

RETIE  N° 07511 / RETIE N° 05915

Operating Temperature

90°C, obtaining greater current capacity compared to a 75°C cable, more efficient electrical design.
